Hello. I'm joining you from the mountains of Central Pennsylvania, in the US. Been riding motorcycles my whole life, but mostly offroad. Picked up a Suzuki DRZ400 to get some road riding in the mix a few years ago, and found that I liked it. Great bike all-around, but not the best for serious road time. Decided I needed something that I could take on longer journeys on highways, but still go offroad at any time without worrying about destroying it. Started looking at various adventure bikes, but just couldn't get into the style of them. Ducati Desert Sled was looking like the right fit for me, but then Triumph released the new Scrambler 1200s and I knew this would be my ride. Went out to test ride an XC, and after riding it there was no way I was driving my car home from the dealership. Bought it on the spot, and couldn't be happier about the decision. I've only put 800 miles on it in the two weeks I've had it (200 miles in an incredible downpour of hard rain), but I am already totally in love with this thing. Thanks for having this open community where I can come in and discuss my new baby, and hear about yours.
