Thanks for the welcome. Riding a Thunderbird for about a year now. Very enjoyable until it developed a cough a few days ago. Interested in Tune ECU to be honest.
I do not know for sure yet. Just got the yellow indicator for Check Engine and noticed issue very shortly after.
Thanks to the Internet, and an OBD2 (error code p1106)I believe I found my issue. Like most I am praying this is all it is and a bit stupid for realizing I may have caused the issue.
Recently added some Triumph Dresser Bars to the front and had to move the horn. I am betting when I was relocating the wiring under the tank to extend the slight distance further to new location I dislodged a vacuum hose to mapp sensor. I see this is less than rare occurrence by the other posts online.
Welcome to the forum, You’ll hopefully find answers to many questions on here, not all the answers will be the correct ones of course, or even relate to what you asked!
Good catch man and welcome to the group. Funny or more likely amazing how slight changes like a leak in a vacuum hose are detected by the ECU's on today's vehicles. Ride safe there man.
Oran Welcome to the Family. Great peeps here and I'm sure you will have an answer soon. If you can't get it sorted I have some good bronchial cough medicine I can send. Or just run it on Jack Daniels for a day cough gone. But welcome and we will all await some pic's of the poorly Steed. Ride Safe Joe.
