I'm no mechanic but foolishly willing to get my hands dirty. I want to replace my coolant and give the system a flush/clean. I'm looking at this to flush the system (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000Y8WF0Q/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A29N3QJAOLULVY&psc=1). I'm guessing I'll need to add 1.8 litres of distilled water to the flush to run the cycle, then another 2.2 litres to clean out the flush agent, then a further 1.1 litres added to the coolant to complete the job. That's just over 5 litres in total. I would prefer to not have to buy two 5 litre bottles of distilled water for the entire job (the cheapest I can find is £13 for 5L). Is is safe to flush and clean out the system if the system is not completely full?
