Hi. Thought I'd introduce myself to all you seasoned posters. My name is Clive and I reside in West Yorks. I've been riding bikes of one kind or another since the age of six (1972). My first bike was a Malaguti Motorik Junior which my father purchased for me from P&D motorcycles in Wakefield. I stayed with bikes on and off - mostly on, till the present day. My main love is Italian bikes and I have owned several including my present two- a 2015 Guzzi V7ii and a 1949 Airone flat single. I also have a 1972 Suzuki T500J. I have always loved the look and sound of the Brit twins but felt scared (perhaps the various horror stories I have heard about them influenced me too much) of actually owning one. Until now that is. A couple of months ago I purchased a 77' T140v from a local classic dealer. It is a U.K bike and as such as the low bars and bigger polychromatic blue tank. I believe it is pretty original and looks like it hasn't been restored with the exception of the paint on the tank. As a fair weather rider I haven't had much chance to ride it, a couple of trips putting around 300 miles on it. I love it! It starts and runs well, feels strong and tight and rides/steers lovely. I particularly like the low seat height and light weight. I'm was having a bit of an issue with the clutch but I stripped and re-built with new parts as I thought necessary and it seems to be fine now
Hi there! Welcome to the forum! Your introduction is great! Please come up with some pictures of your bikes.
