hi all, i’m based in the south of England, and having test ridden a scrambler 900 2 years ago, i’ve finally bought one today. Been playing on nortons for a year, but that’s another story and please don’t hate me. Got a question straight out the box. I believe i’ve Bought a nice 2015 scrambler with some tasteful mods. It wasn’t cheap but it’s got all the changes i’d do myself. But, I was comparing photos today and my seat frame doesn’t have the rear bracket for the high exhaust. This has made me wonder, have I bought another model dressed as a scrambler, or is it possible to simply remove that bracket. Mine has a shorter high pipe on it so the bracket would serve no purpose Anyway, be good to hear on your views, because if i’ve Paid a premium for a scrambler that is what I wanted. Any other tells I should look for? Cheers in advance and looking forward to hanging out here.
Welcome to the madhouse you should fit right in. To keep the inmates happy we will need photos. Tucker
Thanks for the welcomes guys. I believe i’ve got an understanding now. Triumph have confirmed its definitely a scrambler which is great. The seller has confirmed the seat frame appears to have had the exhaust bracket removed and repainted. I’m pleased by that and it’s a decent job. I’d never intend to put the stock exhausts back on so I think it’s better without. Anyway, you like pictures so here’s one. Let me know what extras and mods you can spot here as i’m very much in learning mode. Hope you like it.
