Interesting that you chose the Thruxton, coming as you did from your Fatboy. Can I ask why, given that a Bobber or a Speedmaster would have been more the kind of ride you were used to?
Thanks everyone for all the welcomes ! It does seem to be a strange transition. I grew up riding the JAS of the 70 & 80's. So part of it is nostalgic I suppose. It's definately a departure from what I've gotten use to. I've owned Harleys since 2000. Maybe, I was just ready for a change. My wife rides an iron 883, so there's still a Harley in the stable.
