    Hi all.
Recently purchased my new Triumph Tiger 800 XRX and have rode it over to Spain from the UK.
The bike is fantastic and so much fun to ride.
My only real issue with it is the mirrors, I knocked one of them and it was then loose for the majority of the journey.
The two nut tightening system, to me, is nonsense.
Has anyone managed to change this at all?

    Welcome Al.

Yup, just a mild breeze will loosen them dang mirrors. Try a spot of Threadlock before nipping them up.

Welcome in Al ! Post a picture of the mirror giving you grief maybe it sparks an idea for a permanent solution if someone sees it.

    Welcome to the forum.
I had the same problem with the LH mirror on my Tiger - often knocked it when getting off the bike with panniers fitted. happened at the first GMU and can't be tightened back by hand. Luckily Wayne had two 14mm spanners with him!

That’s a good enough reason to get rid of the panniers and invest in a Top Box Steve ;):):)
