    Hi all
Thank you for welcoming me into this forum, the reason I'm joining is im considering buying my first Triumph and I'm looking for advice from the guys who own and run them. I've been biking for 45 years and had all sorts of machines. I've been to my local dealer and been looking at a few possibilities, one is a 2017 1050 tiger sport 10k mls with a few extras, another is a 2020 tiger 900gt low, which might suit my wife as it would be easier for her to get on and off pillion. I live on the isle of man and 99% of riding will be here with the odd trip up the lakes for long weekend break. I could really do with some advice on these 2 bikes before I buy one. I've always had sports bikes but at my age comfort is starting to sound good. All comments gratefully recieved. Many thank Evan

    Welcome Evan

I have never owned a Tiger but have ridden and nearly bought both models! Personally, out of the 2, I would buy the Tiger 900 because it’s more modern with a TFT screen instead of the dated by comparison Tiger Sport looks and clocks.

I have owned Adventure bikes and sports bikes and I have to say that my 2016 Sprint GT 1050 ticks the boxes for me as a good all rounder. I will probably get a Tiger 900 GT Pro at some point though. ;)

    Cheers

    Geoff

I have a tiger 1050 sport and love it. They are great bikes for just a blasts or touring. For me a better bike that the new 900’s. You need to test ride them both before you purchase.
