Hello all! My name is Jeff and I live in Northern AZ. I recently bought a 2016 Triumph Street Twin 900. I was in the market for a new to me Triumph, looking between the Chopper, T100/120 or Street Twin. I love the look of the Bobber but settled with the Ts or Street Twin as I read they are more comfortable for longer rides. Found a good deal on this Street Twin and brought it home. I am absolutely in love with it and I get many compliments. I am quite new to the motorcycle word. 2 years ago I bought my first bike, a Honda CRF 300l Rally. Its a fine bike and I have many areas where I live that makes sense to have a dual sport bike. But I have come to learn I am not a dirt/forest roads kinda of rider. So the pavement is where I will find myself, thus the road bike purchase. So being a newbie rider in general, any advice from the following from y'all will be helpful. I am hoping to go through it with a fine tooth comb, any suggestion on where to start? I have a mini wind screen that I think they call a flyscreen. Id like to replace that with a bigger one for longer trips, any suggestions? Id like to get a different seat that will allow a better tie down for my rear bag. I dont plan of riding doubles, dont even feel capable to do that yet. I already have the Pannier rails for side bags. I was thinking of replacing the handlebars that the previous owner installed. I was thinking of something with a little more rise, 6" maybe. Whats your thoughts? Headlight replacement or bulb replacement? I was thinking of getting some engine guards and attaching some smaller lights on them to get better lighting at night, but if that can be accomplished with a better bulb or headlight, let me know. That would solve time having to run the wires and new switch. Thanks for any tips. Be safe out there!
Hi there! Welcome to the forum! Windscreen: There are many bigger aftermarket windscreens available. You have to be aware about the diameter of your handelbars!
@HeffreysStreetTwin Welcome to the family. Nice Street Twin. Thanks for the pictures. Black is a favourite colour here.
