    Hey all,

Just got my first triumph last week and I'm only growing more fond of it.

P/O filled the oil based on level with bike on side stand. So it's over filled. How much of an issue is this?

I got Tuneecu and took a look at the throttle balance. Shows 670hpa on all cylinders. Every other post I've read says 700hpa. Should I be concerned?

I'll try to attach an image, thanks in advance.

Welcome! I would suck some oil out if it were me to correct level.. as you have the bike now best to get on with riding it and if all seems good dont get over concerned about cylinder pressure etc.. just enjoy the bike while it's running good

The throttle (note the meaning of this word) bodies restrict airflow to make it a controlled entity. This restriction causes vacuum which is what your 670 measurement is. The actual values are of little concern, what is important is the relative values or variance between cylinders.
If all yours are 670 hpa then that's good to go :p

And yes I too would pull some oil out as a high level can blow seals and gaskets.

Easiest would be a tube and a syringe if you have one . You could suck up a tube but you done want oil in your mouth ..

Welcome to the family. Do drop us all a picture of the beastie so we can ogle. I have used a tube before and sucked out some oil and got a mouth full did nothing for my aching joints either. If your bike is running then leave it be and enjoy. Only fix it if its broke.

I'll try to use a tube on the dip stick port.

    Cheers

Sure is a thing of beauty. And a favourite colour for the inmates here. Nursey will have an easy job dishing out the meds tonight as they ogle your machine.

I have a variety of syringes volume wise for this sort of purpose.
    If you haven't....
Carefully remove the drain plug for a few seconds and allow the oil to drain into a clean container in case you need to partially re-use.
    ;)
