    Hello all!

2 months in to owning my new Speedmaster (still the only matt grey one I've seen on the road) and loving the way it looks and sounds but... ride is so harsh compared to my Yamaha FZ1 and previous sports bikes so gonna mosy on over to the tech forum and ask a suspension question.

Gidday and welcome to the forum.

Really like that colour on your bike, really looks the business.

There are quite a few Speedmaster owners on the forum so I'm sure they will be able to point you in the right direction.

    Cheers

    Steve

Hi and welcome, cool looking Speedy

Harsh ride does seem usual with Speedys and Americas

My T100 has progressive shocks so gives a more comfortable ride at cruising speeds and tightens up when pushing it along with more pace in the twisties.

Sounds more like it. I'll do some digging and see if we can't find some progressive shocks for the Speedmaster too (although might wait a while).

Actually really enjoying riding in a new way. Feet forward is something new to get used to and I confess if I'm jumping from the Yamaha to the Speedmaster I spend the first few minutes dangling my feet expecting the pegs to be up and under my bum instead of out in front

Lower back carries all the weight though as your legs can't support you at all so more core strength work and shedding a few kilos are in order to really love it, I suspect. How about you?

Hi just had lots sports bikes etc, I am thinking of buying a Bonnie but saw a Speedmaster at a good price, they look great & cool
just not sure of the feet forward though, am tempted to get it, MCN (2011> model) give it great review.
    Descions!
