Hi all, I've recently picked up a 2016 Speed Triple R from my local Triumph dealer (Staffordshire Triumph, brilliant bunch of people) after literally years of pining after one! Life kept on getting in the way, house, DIY and a wedding to name a few!

But now I have one I am absolutely loving it....just the wrong time of year to buy, winter is coming along with the gritters!

Anyway hoping to learn more about the bike by picking a few brains on here.

Hi n welcome :) Nothing much to learn about them really apart from check oil n water now and again, check tyre press reg and fill tank with cheap fuel and go ride. Still enjoying my 16 and the only thing i have done is fit a low single can and heated grips :) Oh i now have the rosso 3's fitted instead of the Super corsa.

Welcome to the Family. I can't help you at all as you said Brain. I don't have one of those. Lovely bike and loads of peeps on here will be to glad to talk Speed Triple. Always good to wait till nursey has medicated them. But you will be alright I think starting with a picture always pleases the inmates.

Thanks everyone, bloody warm welcome from all!

Hopeing for a few more nice days to get out on her before the winter sets in,. I treated her to a deep clean and ACF50 coating last Sunday so the weather shouldn't do much damage. Not convinced about the cold weather performance of the super corsas, could all just be in my head though!

    More pictures!

F*ck me TG. You're only supposed to put a thin coat of ACF50 on mate.

Another point that looks like a pressure washer there. If it is be careful as it can cause problems on bikes especially electrical.

Cheers Joe, your right it is but don't worry, I keep it at a distance from switch gear/air intake/exhausts.

Welcome aboard TG, hope enjoy the forum, I picked up my Speedy this time last year, same as you, I'd wanted one for years, well, after seeing the first incarnation of the 1050 at the NEC back in 2004/5, worth the wait though.
