Hi everyone. Just changed from a Suzuki Gsxs1000 to a 2016 speed triple r with a arrow lowboy!
I love it. Build quality is fantastic and that gearbox is soooo nice and smooth. Anyway, I'm in Kent near Gravesend. Hope to meet some Triumph owner for future rides

Hello Jean and welcome along, great looking bike there, have fun with it in what’s left of the good weather.
Well done for the polite intro and pic of your bike, seems like we have some nice people coming along at the moment.

    One really bad thing
I bought it privately with 550 miles. It's in my garage and I don't want to ride it till Thursday after it had its running in service .I have only done 10 miles myself and only up to 6000 rpm . Cannot wait till Thursday to give it some!

Just curious with Triumph. Quality does look on a different level. Are there any areas that does show corrosion on the speed triple

Not really but like all bikes it’s depends a lot on how you look after it. I’ve never used it but a lot on here swear by a good coating of ACF50. I don’t ride mine in the rain unless I’m touring and in those circumstances you can’t control the weather and it doesn’t come out in salty conditions.
If neglected the front of the engine and exhaust takes a beating from the front tyre and discs can get a light coating of rust around the buttons if not dried properly after a wash or rain but generally they are pretty good.
