Just ordered the high bar kit for trumpy. The standard bars for me are too low. Has anyone else fitted them. How hard was it?
I had the dealer do it when I bought the bike. I asked about the bars and the dealer told me they were $375 installed including the new wiring and lines. I said I would just install them myself and save some money, he said they were still $375 so I let them do it. Over all I don't believe it is very hard. You do need a new riser clamp and the longer brake and clutch lines. I don't know if the longer wires are really needed, I have about 12 to 18 inches of extra wire tucked under my tank so i think the stock wires would have been fine.
