    Hi
Thanks for the add. I'm Ian, I'm a biker of 41 years and have had many Japanese machines from every company and of various cc's from the placid Suzuki A100, my first bike to bonkers Gsxr 1100's and anything in between. I have always fancied a Triumph and now that I have turned 60 years old have decided to get one. I have ordered a Thruxton 1200 (not the R). I should have collected it yesterday but due to a recall concerning a stalling issue it has been delayed until Monday. The upgrade was completed yesterday but on my arrival today(Sat) to collect it Triumph had not cleared it on their system so it couldn't be registered, so hopefully come Monday I will be a fully fledged Triumph owner. I'm hoping to put some accessories on it and would like to know what other owners have done to their machines.

Welcome Ian young feller. That stalling issue was simply a couple of reports of customers stalling the bike when blipping the throttle, but all Thruxtons then need the recall fix. It's only a 15 minute job, at most.

Job was completed Friday but unfortunately had not cleared Triumphs system today so bike couldn't be registered, should be ready for collection Monday fingers crossed.
