New boy says hi

    Hi all
    I have owned 1 Triumph in my life, it was an 855 Tiger which I owned for 3 weeks and rode from Bournemouth to Barcelona and back. Well, I have had too many bikes to remember and done 100's of 1000's of two wheeled miles over the years but now at the tender age of 54 (55 in Feb) I have a burning desire to own a Triumph Twin . I am buying myself a 55th birthday present in Feb and it is likely to be a Thruxton which I will happily modify over the years. So Hi to all and watch this space

    Hi NM, I do like it when a person of impeccable taste joins this wonderful group. It just ups the quality of members no end! These other triumph owners just don't know how lucky they are to have us!! It will be a wonderful choice of bike which will give you great pleasure to ride and mod.

    NURSE!!!! That Crispey bloke in the next bed has forgotten to take his medication again!!!:eek: And me straightjacket is still too tight!!!:oops::p:D

    Good on ya! I bought a Bonneville too for my 50th. It's the only way to do it!!

    Welcome NM, enjoy the forums they are very good I have just returned to Triumph after 11 yrs and at 68 yrs young still enjoy and of to the Black Forest and then on to Normandy in the summer with some mates. I cant wait merry xmas from lucas60
