Hi all, A newby from Holland here! After finishing my Honda 1981 CB650 Custom (which I bought bone stock), I was lurking around for a modern classic. The CB650 was a nice bike to drive but it was not really comfortable. That's why I started to look for a modern classic. And ofcourse not many modern classics can beat the Bonneville! Below my CB650 And below some pics from the 'new' bike! Both bikes cosy in the garage I ordered a few parts already and will definitely make it my own just like the CB650. But the focus on this bike will be that it should be comfortable and reliable for daily and longer trips. Cheers!!
Hello Schenk and welcome into the Triumph Asylum - normally at this stage I say that Nursie will be around with your 'meds' very soon - but being Dutch I'm assuming you already have all you need ??? Lovely colourway on the Bonny btw.
Welcome in schenk, I'm not a four pot liker but that's a very nice example you've made. Plenty of bonneville owners on here by the way.
Thanks for the kind words guys! Riding position is similar indeed. The seat I made for the Honda makes it not very comfortable for the longer rides. Haha, plenty of meds here!
Did some first mod's on the Bonneville already. I absolutely love the sounds from the Tec 2-1 exhaust!
