Collected my new Rocket GT today i had put a deposit on it last year as it was on special offer, love it  handles great, like a Speed Triple but on steroids, got a lift up to Aberdeen for it (about 70 miles) weirdly i got lost on the way home 180 miles :)

Cheers Tez,i'd sold my Harley privately last November and i had made my mind up I'd get a newer version of the Fatboy, then i started looking at the Rocket and the Aberdeen dealer had one with 2k off the list price, I'd checked all the other dealers and nobody else had them reduced so that kind off sealed the deal for me

    That's such a nice bike.
Feel a bit embarrassed not knowing it had a single sided swingarm tho.

Nice bike an superb photos - well, all but the one of the car park, which lets things down...

Edit: I must try to do a bike trip around the pretty bits, but not in the midge or rainy seasons.

Didn't seem to be any salt left on the road,i think all the rain the other week would have got rid of most of it.for me taking the Braemar road would normally only be 20 miles more than going up the A90 but as you know it's a brilliant road..but as i got near home i got lost and ended up going over the Moulin Moor to Pitlochry then along by Queens view to Aberfeldy, Dunkeld and home ;)

Yes I remember how easy you get lost. I remember you wandering the hotel one night looking for a toilet. Eventually you stumbled upon reception who told you there was a toilet in your room. Sorry for telling this but you've got a rocket and I haven't.:p In your defence though I must say this was after a night drinking with Dilligaf.
