    Congrats, @Simonjohn! Glad you already love your new bike. I suspect you'll appreciate the weight of your T-bird when you ride it at speed in windy conditions. That's where a heavy bike can really shine, in my opinion. And I also suspect you'll get used to the weight in a hurry. Have fun and please share more photos!
