HI Guys Just got a 2020 Speedmaster I have a couple questions on my first few rides? #1 I think its geared a little high has anyone went down with a 16 tooth counter sprocket and does it work better? #2 the seat height is so low I'm 78 years old just not comfortable for me makes my hips hurt! I put my old airhawk on and its better! are there any seats out, that will raise the height, or can the stock seat be raised up some how? would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Hieb
Congrats on the bike...nice. I found the gearing to be real high and have changed the rear sprocket to 40T and the front will get done this Friday, to 16T. Having no need to get on the highway, the change should make it more fun to ride all the time. The Bobber forum has a discussion & info under "geared to the moon". https://www.triumphbobberforum.com/forums/triumph-bobber-forum-general-discussion.113/
Standard seat has no adjustments and comfort seat is plusher but not higher. Corbin do a raised combo https://www.corbin.com/triumph/tsm18e.shtml
As @Dartplayer mentioned,Corbin seat will move you up and back a bit. There are risers available, newbonnieville maybe?
