    Morning all,

I have a 6 month old 2024 1200XE coming next week. The bike is fitted with a rack, fly screen, heated grips, rad guard & swing arm bobbins.
I plan to get a Tec Bike Parts tail tidy & bar end mirrors. The mirrors are out of stock so could someone recommend me a set of bar end mirrors in black & not tinted, under £50?
Rubber Tank knee pads & a side kick stand enlarged foot plate - again recommendations

Are the Dresser lower engine bars worth the £250 asking price? I don't plan much if any off road time but if I were to drop it would like the engine cases protecting.

@Dickie Well you answered your own question about dresser bars. We have all dropped our bikes at one time or another. Your mirrors phone around put an ad on here. Try someone like square deals or fowlers. The other bits they might be able to help even with cheaper dresser bars or engine protection. Let us all know how you fare may help others.

Hmmm. In my experience tank grips don't really matter as the bike tends to push your knees out a little bit, but YMMV. I'm normally all in on them, but haven't bothered on my XE.

The crash bars on the other hand? You can get cheap ones from China, but the finish is nowhere near as nice and you risk a really shitty installation. The OEM ones line up good and even so it's kind of fiddly to install them.

But 100% I would get them. They look good on the bike and appearances are really important on a bike like this - you don't want to scratch up engine cases because you butterfingered a drop in your garage.

Shop around for the dresser bars. I got a set for £220 delivered when on offer at a dealer although still worth it at full price IMO. I had mine powder coated satin black to better match the bike.

Edit....if the heated grips are Triumph items, be careful when fitting bar end mirrors as the wires run inside the bars and are close to the end.

Hi all & thanks for the advice. I got the dresser bars & fitted them just before a big ride on Saturday - loving the bike, but had reservations initially.
Before the first ride I set the suspension to Solo standard & it was way too soft for my liking. I took a screw driver with me so after only 5 miles set it to Solo Sport (all adjusters 1/2 turn back from fully closed) & it was way too firm. So I now seem settled on about 1.5 turns back. Sag on the front seems just right but I just need to check the back, but I'm happy with how it rides.
