What's up all? My name is Eddie and I just bought an '09 Street Triple R. All factory besides Arrow exhaust and a rear adjustable lowering link (going back to stock soon). I have friends with a Daytona R and a Speed Triple, rode both and fell in love with the 675's power delivery and comfort of the Speed.... and then heard about the Street. It's everything I looked for coming from an '88 FZR; good low end/mid range power, and upright riding style to make for easier commuting. No plans as of yet, just to get out there and enjoy. New tires are on order (Dunlop Q3+). Few questions before I start to search, is there any recommendations for purchasing parts? Companies to look for/avoid? The two things I'd like to order soon are rear spools for the stand, and then basic maintenance things (oil, filter, etc...)

Hi, Eddie. Welcome to this fabulous forum! Congrats on the new bike. It is gorgeous! I live in Arizona so we're practically neighbors. ;)

I buy a lot of my parts and gear from Revzilla which you may already know about. I just a quick check on parts for your year and model and quite a lot came up. Here's that specific link.

    Have fun customizing!

Thanks! I've had a bunch of riding buddies recommend RevZilla already, actually where I got the tires from. I think that's pretty much the go-to source now.

Eddie, something you may know but that I forgot to mention is that Revzilla will price match.

A year or two ago Revzilla was bought by the same parent company that own Cycle Gear, but the guys who started Revzilla in their garage are still connected to the company. I was a bit worried when they "went big" but so far their customer service is excellent.
