Well they are Trident Sprints. There are still a load of these about and they are very good commuter bike for very little money. Saw one for sale a while ago with only 2000 miles for £2300 and I still think you could knock some money off of the price. Not as nice looking as the Tridents but still a very good bike. The Trident Sprint Sports are now starting to also gain in value.
Nice machine, I have a picture of my old Speed Triple in just about the same position; only live about 10 miles away from the factory........ shame as I think my Tiger was built in Thailand
oh I just love old speed triples, that is a dream bike to me but my baby comes close. was it the 900 or 955i SteveJ, I like the tridents too but for me, the Sprint looks better, I like the top half fairing. Lol,takes all sorts. In 1995 the Sprint was Triumph's best selling bike too.
1050....... loved that bike but a bad knee was stopping me riding it so had to get something easier on the legs
oooooh ya lucky bleeder. I thought you meant my kinda old. I sat on one of the new gen ones at the NEC . My dream turned nasty on me,lol. I hated the riding position, gutted. Always thought maybe one day the lottery gods would be good to me and I would get one but not now. I sat on the tiger sport, now that is a nice riding position for me. So if I win on Friday night its a tiger sport and a nice well sorted 900 mark 1 speedie and a 955i both with higher bars, mmmmmmmmm. 0h and a spruce up for my Sprint too
Fair enough. For me it would be a bigger house with a double garage and workshop and.... A 1996 Super III, a Mark one Speed triple 900 in orange, A 56 5TA, a 65 Norton SS Dominator, a Honda VTR 1000r and a New Speed Triple R in black. I would also have a 800 Tiger for New Zealand so I could do some good back country exploring. Also may help if I brought a few more lottery tickets though
