Had my car MOTed last Thursday, looking at the certificate today and noticed the mileage was UP 10,000 miles!
Typo error, easily done but might not be so easy to undo.
You have 7 days to get back to the MOT station and they can rectify it, after that you may well have to go to your local VOSA centre/office, which might not be so local after all as there are not that many of them!
It was lucky I noticed within the 7 days, so it was altered easy by the MOT station and new certificate issued, but if I'd have not seen it at all I could have had problems next mot if as likely as not I would have not covered the 10000 miles it would have looked like it had been 'clocked' as it would have been less than that recorded last test!
Be honest, who checks all the MOT certificate detail?, normally you'll be so pleased top get it you don't if you are like me.
Be warned, check your certificate and MOT history, in future, I know I will!.

One of my bikes show km's for distance and miles for speed?? (Wtf you say?)and some years the tester puts it into miles and others he forgets and goes autopilot into km's and I've got to the point where it just is not important.
