I'm getting ready to put my 2003 790 on a bit of a weight loss diet and make it more comfortable on longer rides. I'm 6'2" and could use a little less knee angle, together with slightly flatter bars to increase my forward reach. Any suggestions for lowering the foot rests an inch (25mm) or so and some lower bars? TIA

Lateral thinking says fit a Burton 003 seat if you still have the original plank. You are perched a wee bit higher and will be able to endure longer rides. Transformed my Bonnie comfort/knee bend etc.

I have a spare Bonneville seat which has been reupholstered by Tony Archer and is at least 1" thicker than the standard, its also more comfortable. It won't help with weight loss but might help the leg stretch!! Let me know if you are interested and I will post some photos.
