Well, the fork reflectors have been gone for awhile, but you are correct regarding the pegs. Rizoma pegs are on order. I’m going to give you a thumbs up for getting two things that have been removed ;)

I think 44mm will be too large. I cut mine out with a 41mm and it’s almost to the edge. You should be able to find a cheap one on eBay, keep looking.

Thanks! I figured I'd ask since that's all my hardware store carries. Amazon to the rescue!

Yup, but that’s not the main thing that was removed :). Here is what is replacing the original pegs.

Ok, so with no guesses flooding in :) I’ll have to tell you what was removed. The rear passenger peg arms. I really like the clean look of the bike now, and love seeing the exhaust pipes going into the mufflers. Sounds x rated I know :p. I’m surprised more people aren’t removing them. That was one of the first things I removed on my Street Triple, mind you those were kinda ugly and the speeds are quite nice actually. Only con is no protection for the back of the bike in a slide.

Hey, I got it right. I said no pegs. I meant no passenger and no rider pegs either! That is, no pegs. Where the hell are my thumbs up? ;)

That was the first thing I did when I got my RS! But then, I've removed the passenger pegs and accompanying brackets on every motorcycle I've owned 'cause I ain't never gonna tote around a passenger. :) And no pegs means it's not an option. But...I agree that the bike looks so much sleeker and cleaner without those big brackets sticking out from under the seat. They were NOT subtle. lol

Yup the bike looked awesome with them on, but now that they off, what a difference.

Steve, were the passenger pegs easy to remove? Just 4 bolts?

Relatively yes. The mufflers and exhaust pipe need to be removed to access the foot peg hanger bolts. You need to remove the cat cover to access the bolts to the pipe as well. All in all about a half hour or so job. Also, I didn’t bolt the pipe hanger back on either, as it seemed unnecessary as the pipe was very secure without it. The pipe hanger is bolted to the shifter side muffler hanger bolts. Anyway it was pretty easy to do, but I must admit I quite enjoy removing parts and working on my bike. I find it very therapeutic.

Interesting. They look accessible without having to remove that stuff, but I've not tried.

One bolt is and the other is not unfortunately. At least not with the tools I have anyway. There might be something that’ll fit in there I just don’t have it.
