I have for sale a MK1 Street Twin Front disc and Nissin Two pot caliper. Taken off a 68 plate bike. Only motion is from moving the bike around in the showroom. New pads included. Photos enclosed, can send more if required. £50 plus postage or pick from the end of my drive in TF7.

I'm curious..what happened to the rest of the bike? Or are you upgrading the front brake?

Already upgraded. However I feel it's a bit too much as this upgrade is a bigger disc than the "MK2" Street Twins. I may keep it now and retrofit .

Interesting. Is it a very significant improvement over stock? Where was it from, how much and did you fit it yourself?

I negotiated a deal at Staffordshire Triumph. It was a pre reg bike. It is, as you can see a Brembo 4 pot caliper with a floating disc. I don't know exactly how much it was but somewhere around the £400-£500 mark. As I said I didn't pay.... It was included in the deal. They fitted it. I had to wait a couple of months for it as the first disc that was supplied was warped. It was manufactured in Italy but supplied from USA. That's about it all.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't happy with the stopping power of my ST at the beginning but I learned to plan ahead a bit more than I had to on previous bikes and I guess I've just got used to it.
