    Hi Guys

Does anyone know the thread pitch for where the mirrors screw in on 2011 speed?

Got myself some cheap bar end mirrors to see if I like and get on with them, but have no bolts that fit the 10mm thread that hold the bracket for the front brake reservoir.

The only 10mm bolts I have look to have a coarser thread than the mirrors.

If I had spent the £70 plus each on the triumph mirrors they come with a bolt to refit the above

I couldn't justify that if I don't like the bar end type mirrors

    Thanks in advance

    Jacko

I actually used a cut down caliper banjo bolt.. Fitted like a glove... Just had to cut some threads off and spray Black... It also has a nice big flat head for holding the brake fluid bracket..

    Cheers Screwball

Good idea that as banjos have the fine thread.

I've ordered some 10mm bolts, in 1.0mm and 1.25mm pitch, surely one must fit?.

Looked on the probolt website and can't find owt.

Found an online engineering place called Namrick fasteners.

Got a old banjo but not threaded to the head.

My banjos were not threaded to the head either. I cut off half the thread and used lock-tight and hey presto.. not had any issues in the 4K miles they have been on.

I'm a huge ponce I have to admit as I have OBCD

Bought my bike an oil filled radiator to put next to it in the man shed.

Hopefully it will get rid of the condensation that's on the bike. ACF 50 and good spray of GT85 over the metal bits.

Update, found a bolt to fit and hold bracket for brake fluid reservoir.

The thread pitch is 1.25mm for the 10mm bolt, just in case anyone else has same problem.

Glad I didn't splash out on the expensive triumph bar end mirror as im not sure I like the cheap ones I put on.

Might go back to original mounts and look at mirrors to fit there.

you got to bend your head down to see out of the one's I put on, not sure I like the idea of something fitted at the end of the bars, and still got an issue getting through my gate.

Rizoma do some nice stuff but bloody expensive

    Cheers all

Found this useful as I just fitted some TEC bar end mirrors on my Street Twin and ended up with the brake fluid reservoir wobbling about.

I measured the bolt as 10mm but don't have a thread guage, so was struggling to work out what would fit. When I added the 1.25 from this thread I found mirror blanking bolts started returning on searches.

    Ended up ordering a couple of tidy looking right handed blanking bolts;
