    Round your way!
Got a letter from DVLA today.
Stating that my one of my bikes was not on the MID, and if I take no action "YOU WILL GET A FINE".
Paid in full back in September for the policy, rang insurers, they said they had "Technical problems" in the last week.........
I assume they will pay my fine?

Don't you just love this modern techno world:poop::poop::poop:

i had that problem a few years ago, i got a warning letter so phoned my insurance co, they hadn't put my details on the MID (although they said they had), a month or so later i got another letter from MID saying it is still not on the MID,so phoned ins company and they said they coudn't understand whats happened but they will sort it out, i told them to email me confirmation..then about a month later i got a 3rd letter from MID so i told them the situation and emailed them a copy of the letter i got from ins co, i then phoned back ins co and gave them a bollocking..needless to say i didn't renew my ins with them

Got one of these letters in the past. Don't see why I have to spend my time chasing it up, pay enough for the insurance in the first place.

You would like to think that was the case DD
But despite the woman at the insurance company resubmitting the info, the askMID site stating that it is updated 10000 times every hour, it still says I am not insured.
The insurers says it takes up to a week...... yeah by mail maybe!

Totally agree! Trouble is where I am there are ANPR cameras everywhere!
So who's problem is it, legally I have paid for insurance and have a paper policy.
    Insurers say I am insured.
But Big Brother who dishes out the fines says otherwise.

Fortunately the weather is sh!te and I am drinking to much rum to ride the bike anyway!:eek::p

No, but they can send you the Notice to prosecute, and then you have the hassle to sort that out.
Mines was because I had a two bike policy, the didn't bother to put the ktm on the list
