I am aware there is a specific tyre section but I wanted to ask in this section. Has anyone got any feedback on the Michelin Road 5 Trail tyres on a Tiger 1200 ... ? I'm still on the original Tourance Next with a lot of life left at 6500 miles. I was expecting the tyres to be worn out after my recent road trip to Dubrovnik, Croatia. I am deliberating over the next set ... To stay with the Metzler Tourance Next or try the Michelin Road 5 Trail or the Metzler Roadtec 01.
Cant speak for the 1200. I have them on my 800 and can't praise them enough in any conditions. ( except winter riding -- haven't had em on long enough) Edit, sorry I'm referring to the road 5 trails.
Thanks Johnjo. I read that the Road 5 trail tyre has stiffer side walls for the adventure bike. Just wanted second opinions ...
