675 Melted Headlights

Hi folks, i have had the misfortune of having the headlights on my 2014 Street Tripple R spontaneously melt.
I went to the dealer, and the service manager, and the salesman were quite astounded. They took pictures and promised to contact the regional rep. This was last summer and have not been contacted since. I'm not hopeful about getting any satisfaction based on what others have posted about this phenom. Super embarrassing for Triumph as I'm not shelling out to get them fixed and anyone asking is going to know how the company ignores problems. The kicker is that when I went back a couple of weeks later, the salesman took me into the showroom and pointed to the melting polycarbonate on a 2016 floor model that had not yet been bought. Pretty lame Triumph... and i was considering upgrading to a newer model.
