Hello everyone, Recently joined the forum because I have just got myself a Sprint 955i, 1999 model. She is in need of some TLC. I do expect a few problems with a bike of this age. My reason for getting this bike is i'm keen to back to biking after a 13 year "rest". ( last bike was a FJ1200 ). Took the 955i out for a run and was presently surprised at the performance, she purred along at 70 with no trouble, however after 5 miles I closed the throttle to slow down and the engine died. all lights worked,engine turned over but she would't fire. Waited 20 mins engine started, off i went until the next time I close the throttle and again waited 20 mins , started engine off I went again. this happen two more times before I got home. I feel to repair this bike is beyond me and will need the services of a mechanic who is in the Kent area. Any recommendations?
