Matlock Bath protest

    Called down to my local bike meet at Matlock Bath today to support a protest against on street parking charges being proposed by the council. Traders believe these charges will drive the bikers out together with much needed income, the council of course see another income stream.
    Was amazed that on a freezing cold day over 4000 bikers arrived and virtually gridlocked the place. Will the council still enforce a two hour maximum stop and force every biker to buy a ticket? (where the hell do you stick it?) Time will tell.

    Post an update on here will you Richard if there are any more protests ? I'm only about 40 miles away and love being a "rebel".

    Looks like a superb turnout. Let's hope the council has a change of mind regarding the parking charges.
