    Hi gurus.

I've read that I can upgrade the front brake master cylinder on my daytona 650 with the bembo master cylinder from a 2007 r6,

I might be able to get one but won't be able to tell if its the brembo one until the new year, I just wondered does anyone know if the standard ones from a 2006/2007 r6 are all brembo and are a straight swap and an upgrade even if its not the brembo one?

I can't cope with these brakes anymore, they are dangerous (I've had calipers rebuilt and fluid changed)

    Hello!

So from just a quick search on Partzilla for an 06/07 R6 (not the R6S model), you can see the Brembo logo in the second picture in the center of the master cylinder. Given that's the only master cylinder it lists, I think it's safe to assume that they all had a Brembo master.

I would say your main issue to solve when swapping to the R6 master is making sure that the thread pitch on the banjo bolt is the same between both master cylinders. Also double check the connector for the front brake switch.
