Ouch! Highsides are a racers worst crash situation, they rarely get saved and always bloody hurt! Hope he hasn't jinxed the number 93!
Well, Wessa, I'd agree that it's those things coupled with the fact that he's a 27-year-old guy whose pre-frontal cortex has just barely matured. I do hope that he exercises good judgement and takes a long(er) term perspective and doesn't come back too soon.
I think if he feels he can ride, he will, given that is is a shorter racing season & zero points scoring would effectively mean his chance of winning the title would be compromised I don't think he give it time to heal.
And every other type of crash imaginable. The dude pushes the limit at every inch of the track. He is amazing to watch. That's good news. It's got to be painful and infinitely more difficult to ride with broken bones, though. I know many racers have done it before.
