Nerd alert! Inspired by an ex tank regiment engineer, I want to start keeping a log of maintenance, cleaning, new parts etc. I have found this book; https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vehicle-Maintenance-Log-Book-Motorcycle/dp/1727268938 Anyone already do this, any tips?
Just bought one for each of my bikes I like recording this stuff using Excel on the computer, but a log book enables you can staple receipts in and other records Nice shout, cheerd

I did this when I did most of my own servicing. The guy that bought my SV650 seemed very pleased with it.
Yep print off some self created excel tables and have a clipboard per vehicle hanging in the garage. I make hand written entries of anything relevant then type these up periodically, copy to pc and replace the scribbled copy. Once bought a bike from an ex ships engineer and he was like me documenting detail; I was impressed.
Well, I wasn't best pleased with the book I got, just didn't feel right. Ended up with a book from Tesco and made my own index tabs out of white stickers! Here is the pic;
