i'm thinking about getting my son in law a quality torch for his birthday (my daughter says he wants one) i've been looking at the maglite range:confused: looks a great torch but too many to choose from and various "Lumens":confused: i quite like the idea of a rechargable one as one of the non rechargable one i was looking at takes 6 batteries and depending on the brightness setting you have it on can last as short as 16hrs on 611 Lumens:confused: or 153 hrs set on 20 Lumens. Has anybody got one and are they worth the money?..some of them are pretty expensive:eek:

LED LENSER P7. 2, best torch I ever owned. Uses AAA batteries, last forever, bright as hell, used by lots of police forces around the world.

Buy from a dealer lots of cheap Chinese copies on eBay and Amazon. Look genuine, there not.

Love a good torch, been through loads over the years, did maglites and loads of others over the years, but have to say LENSER has been my longest used and still in good condition, good finish, not chipped or scratched. Not cheap, but rather pay once.
