Went to the Ingilston this weekend.
I set off on the Saturday morning about 11 before I got sorted and check everything out. I kept waiting for the rain to stop ( like the forecast said,) and eventually I had no choice and so had to set off in a downpour which didnt let up till 3 hours later,Because of the roadworks the new bypass for Aberdeen caused, the first 65 miles took nearly 2 hours. Stopped at Stonehaven to change my gloves cause the water was rolling down my arms and into my gloves, the rest of me was dry as a bone so what can you do.
Pulled in after Perth cos a Chinese guy called Mark on a 600 53 plate Hornet had lost his gear change push rod, ( the thing had unscrewed at both ends  ??) I had tools and I could do nothing to help him, so we stuck the bike in 3rd and I slowed the traffic to let him up to speed then followed till the Dunfermline turn off (we had googled bike shops locally, and there was one open there).Wonder how he got on?
Arrived at the hotel and went up the town for a night out, I must recommend Edinburgh the architecture is continually and monumentally impressive for street after street. and all in fantastic condition.

I parked up to ask the stewart how to get to the car park and he says u can park there, pointing to a wide piece of pavement, when I asked if there was a cloak room he handed me a black bag and said Put your gear in the hut. He then nodded me in though the gate, and in I was.:p:p:p:p

Beautiful spring day to run home and a quiet ish road to run home.

Realy very please with the bike I could not have asked for a anything more than she gave.
I was a bit nervous about leaving her in the hotel car park over night, as it turned out I need not have worried.

Yep, I love Edinburgh, its probably my favourite city.
This is a building on the corner as you go into the castle parade squire, it holds a fascination for me!

    Yeah Dougie I did.
Some of you more well off peeps may like this; its a small screen 24mm, on a flexable stake that fits in your visor at the bottom of your opening . The screen shows the view from a camera mounted at the rear of the bike showing directly behind you. I tried on the helmet and it seemed to work well the image does not move when you move your head and is not obtrusive too your normal view but there when you want it.
I would slant the camera to my right blind spot.

    £180.00 he said
