Lowering My Seat On My Third 1700 Lt

    Hi has anyone lowered there seat by having foam removed.only want about 1inc removed.Any help / ideas would be appreciated.

    It's any easy job if you want to try it yourself.

    Remove the seat cover by undoing the staples that hold it in place, then using a serrated bread knife slice off the top a layer about 0.75" thick and then little at the front where your inner thighs rest on the seat (to make it feel slightly narrower) and test sit on the bike. Assuming the modification has worked as you want, re-attach the cover using staples and you're done !!!

    Other than changing or modding the seat, I believe you could get shorter shocks, although not a cheap option.
