I have fitted the Lust lowering kit to my 2017, I need to do something about the side stand, I've been through this before as I have owned 4 x Aprilia Tuono's, which had a horrible habit of doing an "Oliver Reed" when you had fitted a lowering kit, my query is what other years side stand fits the 2017 Triple "R"

I think the answer is to buy a second hand one and have it modified by a good alloy welder cutting an inch or so out in the lower section.
Edit. There’s one on eBay 113625329335 is the item number but it’s got some damage that could be easily repaired in the modification process.

I was wondering if heating the stand with a torch and putting a small bend would work? Just a thought. This could be done on the bike so it eliminates the removal and reinstall parts. Good luck.

I have the same issue after fitting a lust kit to my RS. The stand is coming off tomorrow and going to a fabricator to chop an inch off the bottom and re weld the kick plate back on

Solved problem on the wifes Street3R that I lowered by fitting stand from a non-R Street3, they're lower than the R version so have a shorter stand. It might be that the same is true of the Speed3?

I think I still have a shortened side stand of my 2017 Speed in the garage.
I'll check when I can get into it, it's a bit difficult to get into currently as we're having some building work done.

Trouble is the lowered bike makes the stand too long and the bike too upright then they tend to roll off! The fleet Tigers are all lowered they have the same problem. Triumph really need to put a slightly shorter stand on too! The lowered bikes are a real pig to get off and on the centre stand too.
