Lowering 2013 Speed Triple

Hi all hope all is well.

Quick question if you have a moment to answer (apologies if it has been discussed before) - is it possible to lower a 2013 Speed Triple by simply rotating the 2 triangular drop link brackets or will this put stress on connected components (shock absorber/swing arm/etc)?
