Well I got a sneaky day off the daytime purgatory on Thursday 6th that I have managed to keep secret from the nearest and dearest. No grass cutting or some such bollox for me, i shall be leaving the house at the normal 6.30 ish.

This should see me pitch up at Loomies at 8.30ish, never been there so I thought this was an ideal opportunity and then onto Beaulieu later........

Well i got there. Took nearly 2 1/2 hours nice ride across Salisbury plain.I rather chilly. Got there a few minutes after they opened, no one else there.
I guy on an fjr turned up, got a coffee, went straight outside and left before i finished my breakfast. Had a chat with the lad who worked there, took up his suggestion for a road to take, visited Winchester. Then had a blast back through Salisbury, Devizes, Trowbridge, stopped off for a free lunch at my sisters in Bradford on Avon then home. Was following a guy on a Bonneville from Salisbury, didnt stay too close as he appeared to like overtaking in places i thought were rather unsuitable then slowed down considerably so he didnt really get away even so.
