In the vein of what did you do today, I suspect like me, many are turning their time to thinking about food and recipes. How about we share some tasty ones we have tried?
Inspired by the amount of rhubarb sprouting the last couple of weeks I have made:
Rhubarb and almond crumble tart - quite tasty

    Rhubarb cake - not bad

Pork chops in rhubarb and ginger sauce - excellent!

Donna made me spotted dick, so simple ,
    4oz self raising flour
    2oz shredded suet
    1 oz sugar
    Cup full of raisins

Place in a bowl, and mix together

Then in a separate bowl mix an egg and 9 table spoons of milk together .
Then pour into the dry ingredients and mix together.

Pour into a greased pudding basin
And stick in the microwave for about four minutes until risen and spongy.

Quick and simple , lovely with custard
You can leave out the raisins and in to he greased pudding bowl put jam or golden syrup before pouring the mix on top.

    Lovely !!

I heard you add your own special salts. Per the admission, "that would be me"

Made some cheese puffs yesterday, very nice and simple. Basic recipe
    1 cup Flour
    2 tsp baking powder
2 cups of grated cheese (cheddar?)
Add 1 cup of milk whisked with an egg and mix gently.
Use any spices, I used garlic, Tuscan seasoning and salt/pepper. Curry or Paprika would be good (1/2tsp)
Dollip spoonfulls on greased tray and bake for 10-15min (till golden) in preheated oven 200c/390f.
