Can anybody recommend an led replacement the parking lamp? I replaced my headlight with an LED 5000k and the parking lamp does not match the color. I also noticed that my parking lamp lights up when my headlight is on, is that suppose to happen or could it be because of the LED? What is the actual bulb/ lamp number?

Try T10, also available in similar 5000K colour.

Rather check and make sure first G. My Bonneville is a 2017 model. They should be the same.

And yes Gil, the parking light IS wired to go on when the headlight is on. On the air cooled models, is powered from the taillight curcuit. There are a lot cheaper sources than Phillips. Try typing in "T10 bulb" on Ebay ;)

I watched part of the video above. More of an "infomercial" than anything else. He is a salesman, not an engineer. I truly believe, if you want to go to an LED headlight, you need the use a compatible lens with it. Not just change out the bulb. ...J.D.

    Philips for me...

This is what the H4 Philips can do at night, picture was taken just after I’ve fitted it prior to adjusting the headlamp.

I’m sure as JD mentioned there are many cheaper alternatives just as capable however after reading up extensively about it and seeing some of the alternatives available I’ve decided to go with the Philips ones.

Correct no good replacing with led without a compatible lens if not all you get is a blur of light! Just look at some young drivers who have replaced bulbs for hid or led there is no control over the light pattern just a blinding blurred light!
