i am afraid its time to say good by i have sold my speed twin. its a fantastic bike but i just needed that little bit more out of a bike. so it was a two horse race between a speed triple r and a aprilia gen 2 tuono factory i have already owned a speed triple which was fantastic but i have always fancied a bonkers tuono been and bought one being delivered next week. probably not the most reliable bike dont now much about them only what i have read mostly horror stories. it looks like this
Cracking bike mate. As has been said no need to leave. You can still enjoy the craic and post on the non triumph thread as well as any of the others
Owned mine for 6 years never had a problem. Most of the reliability fables are just that, legacy of the days where italian bikes didn't like rain. if it's been well looked after and not fettled by a amateur enthusiast then it should give you many years of hooliganism. Top tip, any problems go to see (or phone) Griff who owns APWorkshops https://www.apworkshops.co.uk
Hey Bob, they even let me stay when I only owned a Harley and a Ditchpump... (And secretly: one of the admin officials is a big Tuono fan!) Wouldn‘t ever tell you that his name is Ron! ooops
You may as well stay @bob1 we will only talk about you if you go A lot more to this forum than Triumph bikes
It's a shame that you are having to get rid of your Speed Twin Bob, nice choice of replacement though, the Gen 2 Tuono's are still gorgeous looking machines that come with that beautiful grunty V Twin power, I consider myself extremely lucky that at this time I am able to own a Speed Twin and also a Tuono V4RR which is also an amazing machine, I have had 3 big Aprilia's over the years and never really had too much trouble with them just the odd minor issue. Enjoy your new bike and ride safe mate!
No fuck off splitter.... Joking, doesn’t matter what bike you have, you’ll never find another place with so many depraved inmates as this place Enjoy your pasta machine
