Triumph ST 1050 2005 Leaking fuel tank, has anyone else had any issues with fuel leaking from the little black
bung where the bit of rubber sits between the tank and frame.

    Thanks

Never heard about that. But on your bike (same year as mine) we still have those composite tanks that can show some ageing issues.
I would recommend to get later model tank (can't remind if it's after 2008?). Triumph built them from metal and not anymore from plastic/composite.

Never done it myself but read they can be swapped. I may get wrong
Can you spot the leak and repair with fiberglass then ?
