Just to let you all know, my KTM 1190 Adventure was collected by her new owner this afternoon. It was a very emotional moment for me as lots depended on this sale. So it was with a very heavy heart that I went to the pub and celebrated the shit out of the situation - my typing is remarkably good, considering. House purchase can now go full steam ahead - yaaaaaaaaaaahoooooooooooo
He's a troubled man in a foreign land, give him time boys, give him time! And He'll find his one true love in body and not in mind!!
On the way back from the pub, after a very good evening we stopped outside the new house and had a chat about what we're going to do to her, which kitchen we're going to put in etc etc. Life is a lot clearer this morning - but the barn is empty. Oh well, not for long.
Well done Dave. I'm off on a jolly to Worcester v Bath rugby today. It gives me an excuse for a celebratory shandy!
Well do take care Steve if you're on yer bike, the weather over here has been as wild as a wild thing on "get me high" tabs
Hi Ade, well it looks like: The house has to be the priority so it's pay for the new house; install new kitchen, take down a dividing wall, do a bit of electrickery, then decorate, then move in. Empty old house, tidy up then decorate and put up for sale. Then (depending on the state of the UK economy and the £/€ exchange rates) cash in my pension; buy new bike and live happily ever-after. If the list sounds long it isn't really, so don't worry about the Grand Together in August, I am making contingency plans
Oh dear, so the new bike depends on the UK economy picking up. So you will be requiring a lift to Derbyshire then.
