The last semblance of sanity has departed my world. I've only gone and bought one of the maddest, baddest bikes on the planet . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . By the time you read this, it will be sat in my garage, delivery due any minute. I am planning on buying another America later in the year, for me and the missus to tour about on, but at the moment it just didn't excite me enough, didn't get moist at the thought of the same bike sat in the garage as I had. I'm a bit attention deficit like that. Went to look at a Thunderbird LT, my eldest daughter spotted this bike as we were leaving, and declared I should buy it, as it's Orange (Colour is red, but definitely looked orange in showroom). Spent all weekend researching and talking to a pal that has one. Mind made up, called this morning, deal done, delivery arranged and on its way.
I likey very much Big O. Stonking engine, great exhaust tone and looks good to boot Enjoy. But, I know there’s always a but, unless Aprilia have improved their spares/parts availability over the last few years they can be a pain in the arse. Hopefully you’ll not need any
Aprilia Tuono R. Aprilia RSV sports bike with the fairing removed and not detuned!!!!. 998 V-twin 133bhp and a brickshithouse of torque. Total wheelie machine.... Allegedly
Yeah, not good reputation for spares supply, but other than a couple of minor faults, these are pretty reliable machines.
Very nice,I take it you'll be taking it steady...................................................................not !!
You haven't lost your mind, you have seen the light brother!! Now, weather permitting, go and make some noise.
Jim Allen in Falkirk has been servicing the bike, and there's a place over Dilligaf's way. So I'll be going to Falkirk!!!!
Pink Aprilia? Ron? Gay pride? Well I had my suspicions I think this bike might be Ron trying to tell us something
