My thoughts are with you BC. I missed meeting you for the first time at the Wales GMU but talking to others I know the affection they have for you and am sure you will get many messages of support at this horrible time. I hope you can get through the days and months to follow and you can remember your partner and the good times you have had together which will never leave you. Take care of yourself. When I lost a loved one the best advice given to me was "Yes - mourn the passing but don't forget to also celebrate the life! Fill the tears with the moments that made you both laugh, and brought you both joy. Fill them with those ridiculous, silly moments that had you both in stitches."
Remember that they are still holding your hand to help you through - but no longer in pain or suffering.

Terrible news Nikki, As you say nothing is going to make you feel better at this time even though you knew this day was close,
Staying strong is all you can do and use the memories you have of better times to lean upon when things is tough.

Hi Nikki, I just read, with great sadness, about the passing of your partner.

By the way you refer to them (as your soul-mate) you must have had lots of great times, so even though it brings pain to think about them, try to see the joy you both enjoyed.
