Please forgive me if I've missed it, but I can't see an actual plan of what we might do/where we might go ?
I mentioned a couple of places in Germany a while back. They seemed to get a fair few favourable responses. They were in Bad Bertrich (Moselle) and Bad somewhere else (Harz Mountains). I'm not at home right now and the two places are book marked on my laptop which is at home. Apart from that, there was one mention for Austria (Eric), one for France (Dave) and one for Spain ? If you look back through the posts you will see where they are. If anyone has any firm alternatives that they want to organise then please come forward now.

The Northern contingent sailing from Hull could meet up with the Southern contingent sailing from their port of choice at the first venue. TrophyCat(maybe BonnieCat) could meet up with the Northern lot somewhere in Clog Country. Winglad could take his pick(No not in a tank Daniel). Anyone wanting a short trip could go back after the first venue. This way we get to see The Eiffel, the Moselle and the Harz Mountains. Both venues are geared up for bikers and will provide routes.
In the first poll there was a member "Odinz" who voted. Odinz, you need to vote again AND put your name on the list if you still intend going.
I also tend to go in September as it's cheaper and quieter, but then I always head to the South of France where it's better weather normally.
So what are you saying Eric you don't ride from the end of August You young bikers need to take a leaf out of us old motorcyclists book For me September or even October, less traffic, good accommodation is easier to find and you can still get fine weather.
I've changed my vote to September because that's when the wine festivals start in most of the towns and villages in the Mosel valley (not that we need any encouragement to drink alcohol). We went last year in September and it was 36 degrees so don't worry about the weather!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for September. I want to make the UK meet in July and, with my annual holiday being in May, something will have to give if it's June.
